EmCentrixs mobile app for smartphones allows employees to punch in and out, track mileage, view time off requests, and check their company holidays on the go. Because employees use their existing user accounts from the online HR system, employers can control which of their employees are allowed to use the mobile apps functions.
Mobile Time Clock
EmCentrix Mobile can turn your employee’s smartphones into time clocks, letting employees punch in and out while on the go. As they clock in and out, employees can select different job codes or levels punch by, as well as log notes for each punch. Punches are submitted instantly to the HR systems online time sheet, allowing managers to view punches as they are made. The app helps provide businesses with a clear picture of where their mobile employees are when they punch using the devices on-board GPS functions.
Mileage Tracking
The Tracking function can be used by mobile employees to track their mileage driven for work when their company requires it. This function uses their devices GPS functions to track the distance driven while tracking has been enabled by the employee. Once they have reached their destination, they can stop tracking to finish the trip and the mileage will be transmitted to the employees time sheet.
Time Off
EmCentrix’s mobile app allows employees to view their time off requests directly from their phone or tablet.
Company Holidays
Employees can easily look up the company holiday schedule from the app, saving them from having to hunt down a company calendar or flip through their employee handbook.
Requirements
Users must have an active EmCentrix HR system account and their company must be allowed to use mobile services in order to use the app.
